This Stoneware Moon is inspired by an Altar carving I found while visiting the Greek Islands. It is handmade using a slab technique, hand cut, formed, carved, painted using underpaints and have a crystal-clear glaze. It was fired to a cone 6 and is made to be used outside. The supports on the back slide perfectly over a 1/2” metal rod. Each one is approximately: 11 x 11 x3 and weight approximately 2 lbs.

This has slight imperfections which make it very unique.
