In this workshop we will explore different techniques of drawing. Whether you have been drawing or sketching for years, or are just ready to start, you will learn to express your own style by combining techniques to create contours, shapes, tone, shade and perspective. We will look at graphite pencils and their differences as well as ink pens, colored pencils and various papers.

I will provide the art supplies for this class as well as distribute a shopping list at the end of the day. I will also provide items from nature to draw from, but please feel free to bring in your own personal objects and ideas you’d like to work on.

A drawing can stand on its own or be a great foundation for a painting!
