In this workshop we will look at different watercolor techniques and papers. The first part will be instructional for those new or just wanting a refresher course in watercolors. Afterwards you will work independently with my guidance as needed.

We will explore different types of watercolors such as, watercolor tubes, pencils, graphite paints, and luminescent paints. Different weights and types of papers such as, hot press, cold press, rough press, colored and rice papers.

This class is perfect for beginners to advanced students. All are welcome to attend!

I provide all the materials needed to explore and create. You are welcome to bring anything that inspires you such as an object, or an image. I will have some items here to work from as well. Everyone will leave with a piece suitable to frame!

Please bring a snack and beverage for your lunch. I will have tea and a sweet treat to share.
