Autumn Workshop -Working with Natural Watercolors. Saturday November 14th. 10am -2pm

$85.00

The focus of this workshop will be on the rich colors of late autumn. A pallet filled with deep muted tones and warm dark shades. I have foraged for a variety of plants, nuts and berries to extract their pigments and create my own natural watercolors. The complex browns of maple leaves and black walnuts, black currants, deep indigo blues, bright berry reds, and gold tones of marigolds and goldenrod, complete an array of autumn colors.

There will be a brief demonstration explaining the process of extracting pigments from local plants. This workshop is suitable for anyone who would like to work with watercolors in a friendly non-competitive environment. No prior knowledge of watercolors necessary. All supplies are included with the price. You are encouraged to bring any objects, foliage, or image to use as inspiration. I will have items to use as well.

Please bring a snack and or lunch. I will have teas and beverages as well as dessert.
